Fun and glamour will be well catered for when New Zealand’s Pride in Print competition holds its awards night on May 3.
The event at Wellington’s TSB Arena – on the harbour and a stone’s throw from the capital city’s CBD – should be a popular setting, says manager Sue Archibald.
Theme of the night is a continuation of the ‘Print out loud’ campaign which proved successful in Auckland last year: “We have pushed to make the voice of print be heard among print buyers and among New Zealand business as a whole,” she says.
“But printers need to do their bit. They need to select entries which scream out the message ‘this is a showstopper’… jobs which are outside the box.”
Early bird entries close on December 21, with the final close off on February 28.
