EidosMedia Australia general manager Lodovico de Briganti will be hiking, biking and rowing his way across regional NSW next month to aid a national charity.
“The fundraiser is the Smith Family Challenge and aims to raise much-needed funds to help young Australians in need, to create better futures for themselves through education,” he says.
This year's Challenge is a wild, wilderness race on March 15-16 in the coastal region of Forster, NSW, with a course covering 100 km of lakes, rivers, beaches, cliff tops, bush and ocean.
“I am taking part to help raise a much-needed $300,000 for The Smith Family, a national children's charity that believes that every child deserves a chance no matter their circumstances.
“All of the funds raised will go to help young Australians in need get the most out of their education, an example being helping children who do not attend school because their families cannot afford the uniforms or textbooks, and worst case scenario they can't afford lunch!”

Says de Briganti, “I have never done anything like this before and I have been training as much as I can to be at least fit enough to survive and complete the distance.
“Any support will be greatly appreciated.”
