A good night at Australia’s National Print Awards saw Offset Alpine NSW collect six medals, three of them gold.
The awards presentation – under an elaborately regal theme – was the social highlight of a week which included PacPrint and the Geon Melbourne plant auction.
And it was the failed Geon group which turned out to be the ‘elephant in the room’, its entries scoring 11 medals across the Victorian and WA operations.

Cold set: Gold– Rural Press Mandurah for Farm Weekly (February); bronze– Rural Press Printing Murray Bridge for Port Augusta City Council.
Web Offset Publications with a Cover Price: Gold– PMP Print Vic for Shop Till You Drop; silver– Offset Alpine Printing NSW for Russh Magazine June-July.
Offset Alpine’s four other medals came for a leaflet for the Seafolly Kids Catalogue 2012 (bronze); the Baku Swimwear Catalogue in booklets, catalogues and magazines, saddle-stitched (gold); Victor Chang Annual Report 2011 in annual reports/prospectuses (gold) and the Avon Christmas Brochure in impact, sensory or direct mail (silver).
