Kodak has recruited Allan Brown from HP ahead of some important workflow announcements.

He becomes general manager of the unified workflow solutions business, which includes Kodak's Prinergy workflow.

His 25 years' print industry experience includes software engineering and executive positions at HP and Xerox.

President of software and solutions Eric-Yves Mahe says his extensive software experience in product development and operational excellence "will be a great asset as we continue to strengthen our software business".

Brown most recently was vice president and general manager of HP's integrated workflow software unit. He holds an MBA from the University of Rochester, an MS in computer science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and a BS in computer science from Tuskegee University.
