Krause India has been appointed agent for QI Press Controls, expanding a relationship it has had with EAE - which shares the same ownership - for the last three years.
The formal arrangement is between subsidiary QI Press Controls India and Krause Biagosch India - which it descibes as "an independent daughter" of German CTP manufacturer Krause Biagosch - and covers the whole of India. Managing director of QI Press Controls India Vijay Pandya says he believes that joining hands will result in multiple sales successes for both QI and EAE.
Krause's Indian subsidiary was established in New Delhi in 2010 and holds a number of agencies including Japanese press manufacturer TKS, whose equipment is in use at HT Media there. QI says the decision to add its systems to their offering follows the acquisition of EAE in April 2014.
Krause Biagosch India managing director Deepak Nargis says the company always supports its partners: "Our team spirit and the close contact to our customers help us to identify their needs and problems on time, develop ideas and together find solutions leading to success.
"That's why we continue to build our relationship with QIPC-EAE by providing their range of products to the Indian printing market."
Vijay Pandya says the partners will benefit from each others' resources - "That's why we get a good agent like Krause Biagosch India to represent us in the Indian printing market," he says - and will enable them to serve the web offset industry better.
