DS Chemport (Australia) has announced a new appointment ahead of the retirement of Phil Creer.
Jason Kennedy has joined the NSW team as account executive following a 27-year career in print, sales and management. A trade-qualified printing machinist, he has worked in sales and management over the past 15 years with companies including Toyo Ink, Day International, Heidelberg and most recently Flint Group. In 2006 he coordinated Toyo's major Australian sales project, and two years later played an integral part in transitioning the Day/Varn business following its acquisition by Flint Group.
Along with partner Samantha, Kennedy (right) is involved with the Black Dog Ride, providing social support for people suffering mental illness, and in August they will take part in a 7000 km motorcycle ride from Bathurst to Uluru and back to raise awareness for depression and suicide prevention.
Account executive Phil Creer retires on May 8 after a career spanning more tha 50 years in the printing industry, almost a decade of which he has been with DS Chemport in Australia.
