Press controls that deliver reliable print quality and accurate colour can make a huge difference in a market such as India, QuadTech general manager Hemant Desai says.

The company is an exhibitor in this year's WAN-Ifra India conference and expo, being held in Mumbai next month.

QuadTech will feature systems including its image-based Color Control and Web Inspection System, closed-loop Register Guidance System, and print-to-cut Ribbon Control System - all with MultiCam - as well as its computer-controlled Digital Ink ink injection system.

QuadTech Data Central is a central hub for production data that displays, manages and stores print run information, including colour, registration and cutoff data which can be presented and used in a variety of ways.

"In a dynamic newspaper market like India's, the demand for reliable print quality and accurate color by major advertisers and readers is very high," says Desai (pictured). "When newspaper printers are also offering commercial products like inserts and magazines, the pressure to achieve these standards is even higher."

WAN-Ifra India 2015 is at Bombay Convention & Exhibition Center, Mumbai, from September 2-4.
