PANPA has harnessed electronic entry and QR code technologies in the launch of its 2009 Newspaper Advertising Awards. Chief executive Mark Hollands says the com petition is already attracting attention and entries from Australia, New Zealand, the Pacific Islands and South-East Asia. “When you win, you differentiate yourself and your newspaper/, demonstrate creativity and delivery and prove your commitment to clients and prospects,” he says. The competition also helps enhance credibility and integrity and underlines that “you are their best choice”. Categories include: print advertising; digital advertising; print/digital bundling; creative and execution; supplements and dedicated environments; team leadership and management; and account management and sales. “You have a great chance to win, with awards are made in three circulation categories,” says Hollands. An online entry system – provided via Workstream Solutions – allows submissions to be uploaded, and is complemented by a facility to source competition information by QR code through marketing partner Acratus. You can take a photo of the code with a mobile phone if you have a QR reader (or SMS 'RDR' to 0429 112 756 for download help if you don't have one). Visit www.panpa.org.au for more details.
