Khaleej Times extends online with system order

Dubai-based Khaleej Times has extended its Newscycle as part of an ambitious digital strategy.

The US-based systems developer will install its Newscycle Digital at the Galadari Printing and Publishing operation, part of UAE-based Galadari Brothers Group. The new system will handle the digital version, www.khaleejtimes.com while iuntegrating with existing advertising and content management systems there.

Khaleej Times is one of the most popular English language dailies in the Gulf region.

Senior vice president, finance and operations Saghir Ahmed Khan says the newspaper is rolling out an ambitious digital strategy embracing all digital platforms: “We consistently work on enhancing the workflows for achieving greater efficiencies in the production system and improvement in the end product.

“This new system will help us deliver multimedia content through many channels the way our audience wants to receive it.”

Galadari Printing & Publishing other newspapers and magazines include the City Times, WKND magazine, Indulge and Inspired Living. It also prints and distributes the International New York Times and other regional language titles in the UAE under licence.
