Samsung spends to launch new Fairfax ad unit

Fairfax Media has launched new online advertising unit with a promotion for Samsung’s Galaxy S4.

Dubbed ‘The Beast’ the concept provides an advertiser with interrelated space and the opportunity to use multiple sets of content for different audiences.

All content within the ad unit’s area can be changed by user interaction via built-in navigation links, and can also be sectionally targetted.

Multiple sets of content can include imagery, text, videos, galleries and social media feeds, “effectively creating a minisite within the article page”, says the publisher.

The Samsung campaign was produced with agencies Starcom and Leo Burnett, together with Fairfax’s digital innovation team.
