Elpical’s Organic Imaging – used by photographers to automate raw conversion and image enhancement – has gained improvements from its Claro 9.5 update.
These include improved skin-tone recognition and correction, and local contrast for mid-tones and highlights. The company says the local contrast controls enable results that could otherwise be achieved only by manual editing and masking.
The upgrade also counfounds the idea that additional and more complex calculations lead to longer processing times, with a ten per cent performance boost.
