Canada's Toronto Star will use Newscycle's cloud-hosted circulation platform under a new agreement.
The long-term arrangement is with Torstar Corporation, and covers the Toronto Star - which is the country's largest newspaper - as well as the Hamilton Spectator, Waterloo Region Record and Guelph Mercury.
Automatic version upgrades of the PCI-compliant platform will keep Torstar properties up-to-date with the most current circulation software features.
Newscycle vice president of sales Randal Meske says Torstar is a valued customer and strategic partner: "They will see immediate benefits in every aspect of the circulation and distribution processes... and secure a more financially stable future for the group."
