Following its November alliance with Managing Editor, WoodWing has integrated its ElvisDAM product with MEI's TruEdit workflow and vjoon's K4.
The solution enables TruEdit or vjoon K4 users to access facilities of the WoodWing asset management product from within their workflow, with scope for up to a billion managed files.
End-of-workflow archiving is also enhanced through the delivery of rights-management information and other metadata to Elvis DAM for future repurposing for additional projects and channels.
MEI director of product management Brett Kizner described it as a "compelling solution" to integrate key parts of the content development lifecycle, with WoodWing chief executive Roel-Jan Mouw adding integrations with other solutions including CRM, CMS, PIM, creative applications such as the Adobe Creative Suite, and publishing systems including Enterprise and now TruEdit and vjoon K4 were crucial when it comes to exploit the ROI of digital asset management. He says a variety of integrations with third party solutions in publishing, content marketing and marketing automation will be offered.
WoodWing partnered MEI in November to market Elvis DAM in North America. MEI's TruEdit workflow solution works with InDesign, Microsoft Word, the Digital Publishing Suite and other tools.
