Cote d'Azur daily Nice Matin is installing 3TControl's VP2020 colour automation system on its three manroland Geoman presses.
The Spanish-developed system will monitor and control elements including colour density and register, dampening and ribbon cut-off.
Nice Matin president Jean-Marc Pastorino says the publisher had been watching the development of the 3TControl system since 2012, and were impressed by its relative simplicity: "In our ongoing research of quality, the investment in their will also allow us to improve our technical and business efficiency."
3TControl president Ian Banerjee described it as "a real privilege" to have been selected: "We look forward to installing the system and debuting the VP2020 system in France."
3TControl is represented in France by WRH Global France's Stéphane Giraudon.
