Technology alliances with Israeli search company Zoomd and Canadian predictive analytics content recommendation company Youneeq have been announced by Newscycle Solutions.
Both are named as partners in the company's Connect programme, with Zoomd adding search and monetisation platforms, and Youneeq data-driven technology.
Newscycle says the natural language processing (NLP) capabilities and machine-learning algorithms in Zoomd's advanced search engine analyze a publisher's website content based on context and match it with the user's search data to delivers relevant editorial content and advertisements.
Youneeq's patent-pending system matches and delivers relevant news content to readers across all platforms and from all traffic sources, providing customers with higher real-time audience engagement levels. It targets and identifies users via behavioural big data, resulting in increased fill rates, improved effective cost-per-thousand impressions, and time-on-site.
The software is said to track "real humans, not robots", with revenue attributed to Youneeq pages on average range between five and 20 per cent.
