Integrated advertising sales and CRM functions are promised by a new browser-based Newscycle application.
The new SalesLink CRM version provides mobile CRM and customisable reporting, with backward compatibility for existing advertising system users. Features include real-time access to contacts, accounts and product information, with customisable dashboards and reporting widgets presenting data in chart form. Included are widget administration tools, an 'access list' option for data security and intuitive search functionality.
"The new features provide sales departments with tools to easily create multiple dashboards and widgets based on the data needed using any browser-based device," says marketing solutions product manager Aubrey Medley. "Its mobility allows outside sales reps to quickly input and receive key information, giving them instant access to customer data and other details to explore new revenue opportunities."
The dashboards and widgets unify multiple datasets, and users can create dashboards and customised widgets to collect and analyse sales and customer data in real time. There are also tools for administrators to create and share widgets with multiple chart options, labels and colours.
A smart search feature allows quick access to important information. As a user begins typing a search query, the system displays relevant search results. Users can also build advanced searches across multiple fields.
Newscycle says SalesLink CRM 2016-2 is backwards compatible with older versions of its advertising systems, with users of its Advertising 2016-1, 2015-1 and 2014-2 able take advantage of the CRM and dashboard components.
