Plans to rebuild Dauphin Graphic Machinery to its past glories have moved ahead with the appointment of Chris Lunt to the DGM advisory board of new owners the Siebold Company.

Lunt (pictured) is credited with taking DGM from service and parts supplier to press builder, and is reported to be "thrilled" to be working with past customers again. As lead director of the advisory board, he will be working with Siebold and customers to "rebuild the brand" in North America after its 11 years of foreign ownership. Among those he will be working with is former customer Christopher Miles, who joined Siebold last year.

Siebold bought the IP and parts and service unit of DGM late last year when the former Manugraph India subsidiary filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in June.

Another recent acquisition is Kansas-based Smith Pressroom Products, while Siebold has just been appointed distributor for Netherlands-based GWS Printing Systems for the US, Canada and the English-speaking Caribbean.
