No longer the new kid on the block, this Brisbane brand have been busy establishing themselves firmly nationwide!
The brainchild of young business owner Danielle Larkin, and a labour of love for the close-knit and committed team of staff, d+k has grown in leaps and bounds since last year's official launch.
"We're now stocked in more than 40 retailers across Australia, and seeing this grow every month," says Danielle Larkin.
"We're also proud to say that we are preferred suppliers with Frontline Stores, and provisional preferred suppliers with Intersport Australia."
Now boasting a dedicated photography, videography and marketing team, and a brand new and improved website to match; huge things are instore - and d+k is ready for them.
The new spring 2018 collection is launching to direct retail customers within weeks, and with indent orders well underway, there's no sign of things slowing down.
She says, "We've taken on feedback from customers and wholesalers to ensure that we are staying ahead of the game when it comes to high performance and luxury products.
"When I designed the spring collection, I really took the time to focus on the features and benefits that I knew our customers were looking for."
What does this look like for the range? "Pockets! My favourite thing is pockets," Larkin says. But it doesn't stop there.
This collection is one of the largest yet, so there really is an option for everyone. Spring sees a standout range of tights from short shorts to full length and everywhere in between.
Statement colour blocking, clever panelling, and carefully thought out support mesh panels means that the customer looks and feels their best.
d+k also understands that not everyone wears their activewear the same way. So you can expect to see adjustable lengths, customisable fits, hook and eye closure on crops, and bonus internal pockets as well.
The complete range is designed with universality and functionality in mind. Consumers know quality when they see it - and d+k never fails to meet this standard.
Using luxury fabrics from responsibly and sustainably sourced suppliers, these high performance garments mean maximum wearability. Layer pieces for gym-to-street style and comfort, or opt for a pullover dress for easy athleisure style.
National sales manager Brent Holden is the resident jet-setter; flying around Australia meeting with potential stockists and checking in with existing wholesalers to ensure that the d+k extended business network is supported.
"We definitely go to great lengths to support our wholesalers," Holden says.
"We offer flexibility in ordering, a wide-enough range that they can select key styles for their individual customer base, and we also readily supply marketing material from our in-house team."
No minimum order spends or rigid size pack restrictions means simplicity for stockists, which allows for greater success, he says.
