With more than newspaper and commercial web presses to offer, Goss has said it supports the idea of a single North American show covering both sectors.
The company – which was among the first ‘heavy metal’ vendors to turn away from mediaXchange – says it will participate in the 2010 Graph Expo show in Chicago, emphasising its ownership structure, web and finishing technologies and an expanding product range which now includes Akiyama sheetfed presses.
Sales and marketing senior vice president Jacques Navarre says the Chicago show should remain an essential forum for suppliers and printers to meet, reaffirm their commitment to the future, and generate enthusiasm for new technologies and new ideas: "We participate because we believe the unique show environment delivers value for our customers and for our industry."
The show will be the first major North American event for the company following the ownership investment by Shanghai Electric, which also owns Akiyama. Goss also represents Ferag in the region and will present integrated Goss-Ferag finishing solutions for newspaper and commercial sectors at the show.
