Print innovation and sustainability will be recognised in a new WAN-Ifra competition, with winners to be recognised at this year’s World Printers Summit in Vienna.
Entries close at the end of August, with judging to take place between September 1-10.
World Printers Forum director Ingi Olafsson says the competition will identify the world’s most innovative print advertising products, publications about sustainability as well as sustainable working processes. “The competition is open to newspaper and magazine publishers, as well advertisers and advertising agencies”.
And participation will be confidential, with entries judged by an international panel, and only the names of award winners being published. There are five categories – for advertising innovation, product innovation, special editions, products for young readers, and for cost reduction in print production.
Presentations will be made during the World Printers Summit at the Palais Niederösterreich in Vienna on October 8.
