WAN-Ifra’s first in-person Asian Media Leaders Summit is to be held at the majestic and historic National Gallery Singapore.
The event, from November 6-7, brings senior business and editorial leaders from the region and around the world together to discuss from a strategic level, pressing issues the news media industry is facing today and where the industry is headed.
Topics are likely to include digital transformation, media brand adaptation and amplification, audience engagement, financial sustainability, innovation, and business models.
In the newsroom area, the summit will also address challenges facing journalists in the area of ethics, how to maximise resources in the newsroom, how to augment journalism’s true value and also best journalism practices that support audience growth and revenue generation.
The venue, the National Gallery Singapore is a national museum dedicated to art and culture located in Singapore’s civic district – the birthplace of modern Singapore, where many historic events took place. The gallery is housed in two national monuments, City Hall and the former Supreme Court, which have been beautifully restored and transformed into an exciting 64,000m2 venue.
