Goss International says it exceeded US$1.1 billion ($1.15 billion) in sales in 2007, advanced key innovations and entered 2008 with US$650 million order backlog. Results published in April show each individual Goss manufacturing entity in America, Asia and Europe was profitable on a net income basis. The joint venture operation in China shipped a record 1200 Community SSC and Magnum press units to 28 countries. “Our customers are enhancing the value of print and redefining their printing operations through their ingenuity,” chief executive Bob Brown says. “In 2007, we demonstrated our sustained focus on the innovations, resources and project management capabilities necessary to support 21st century production platforms and business development.” Brown says operational performance and market success continue to have a positive, reciprocal impact on Goss International’s ability to drive research and development initiatives, maintain global manufacturing and support capabilities, and create opportunities for printers and publishers. gx
