Atex has launched the digital asset management solution it announced last October at the World Publishing Expo in Amsterdam.
Features include a picture desk, dossier creation and video management as part of the company's digital media platform.
Atex says the product is open, fast and scalable with a NoSQL database. It can serve a variety of purposes including implementation of a centralised content management infrastructure, consolidation of different asset managements systems, creation of an actionable data platform, content workflow for remote editors and contributors, or implementation of user generated content policies.
Global sales director Federico Marturano says customers had asked for a digital-oriented flexible platform, and expanding the Web CMS technology was a natural foundation.
