Two Australian companies - Bauer Media and Yaffa - appear in new testimonial videos for the company's publishing and DAM products.

Long standing user Yaffa - one of Australia's oldest privately-owned publishers -deployed WoodWing´s publishing system Enterprise in 2009 and now uses both it and the Elvis digital asset management solution in the production of its 35 magazines, 16 apps and 25 websites. A few days ago a video case study was released on YouTube.

Production director Matthew Gunn (right) says their introduction "revolutionised Yaffa.

"I think probably the greatest change has been streamlining the workflow and reducing production times from seven weeks to three," he says.

Since the 2011 introduction of iPad apps for some leading titles including AdNews, Yaffa has now released 16 apps to complement their best-known print titles.

High-profile titles such as Australian Women's Weekly, Cosmopolitan and Wheels are among more than 80 magazines produced by Bauer Media Group on Enterprise. Again it was a change from putting magazines together manually to using an online system to develop the products efficiently.

"We've seen a lot of efficiency in our workflow processes especially with making PDFs, especially the way subs work, the way designers work especially with templates," says James Hawkes in the video.
