A comprehensively-equipped Goss M600 is being installed at French print house Imprimerie Guillaume in Comines.
Originally built for a highly specialised Italian printer, the press is expected to start production in early May. To produce a range of high quality 'haute couture' catalogues and books, the press had been equipped with a number of finishing options.
Gael Amic, sales manager for France for supplier GWS, says the press press has seven printing units and two folders - providing a wide variety of folding possibilities - as well as a sheeter. "It is actually a very complete package, as we have also been contracted to deliver a complete post press system with the press," he says.
GWS' daughter company in France, Dovak Industrial Services will provide full service support from its offices just north of Paris.
The equipment was arriving in Comines in early March, with installation expected to be finished within two months.
