Amanda van der Leest-Rasch has moved from healthcare and HR to publishing with her appointment as WoodWings’s first chief technology officer.

As well as building out the company’s core solutions, her brief will include a focus on potential acquisitions to complement its “content orchestration” positioning, as well as enhancing its cloud-based solutions.

Prior to joining WoodWing, Van der Leest-Rasch (pictured) was senior director for R&D at Netherlands-based HR systems giant ADP, leading more than 100 there and in India. Previously she had been area vice president for healthcare specialist CompuGroup Medical.

WoodWing says it is investing globally with rising demand for content and the complex workflows needed to manage it.

She says market shifts including the trend to the cloud, continued rise of ecommerce and demand more channels and platforms present great opportunities for WoodWing. Chief executive Ross Paterson says her experience will be invaluable as the company invests further in technology and its development team. “More organizations are beginning to look at solving content challenges strategically with content orchestration – people and tools working seamlessly to plan, create, distribute and manage content.
