They may have the power to knock out the decades-old tanks Australia is giving to Ukraine, but drones can also bring a smile to your face.
Watch out for the 500 drones leading Coca-Cola’s spectacular in Sydney tonight (Saturday) during the Salvation Army’s Carols in the Domain performance.
Just as it’s getting dark, the drones will sweep across a stretch of sky half as big again as a football field, and will present a QR code visitors can use to watch the broadcast and donate directly.
A second performance will bring favourite ‘12 Days of Christmas’ to life in shimmering light, adding a fresh sparkle to a night already full of music and tradition.
Coca-Cola is a long-term partner of the event, donating almost A$1.4 million since 2017. The partnership with the Salvation Army Carols in the Domain is part of a broader festive marketing campaign across TV, digital, shopper and OOH.
