Australian Graham Wickham has been named to lead a new global service operation within manroland Web Systems.

The former managing director of manroland Web Systems Australia will manage the new ‘print.competence’ business unit.

This joins the ‘pressupdate’ unit in helping web printing companies systems sustainably improve profits. “Printers have to be able to systematically implement more economical production concepts to achieve quick increases in productivity,” says a spokesman.

Before joining the Sydney-based MWSA operation, Wickham gained extensive experience in heatset web-offset, including senior management roles at manroland customer PMP Print in Moorebank. Over more than 40 years he managed projects and engineering, advised on production, design, and consumables, and developed maintenance software.
