Kodak will channel efforts on the dynamic regional digital print market with the appointment of Adrian Fleming to a new general manager role.

Current managing director of Kodak Australasia, Fleming becomes Asia-Pacific general manager for digital printing on May 1.

Steve Venn will step back into the managing director role he vacated in 2010 to become regional director of strategic account management and channels, and will continue to manage strategic accounts across the region. A further appointment to manage the regional channel is planned.

Fleming says the role is “a great opportunity for the company and for me personally. “The digital print market is extremely dynamic in the Asia Pacific region and I am

enthusiastic about working with customers to help grow this segment.”

Fleming will initially be based in Australia “to ensure a smooth transition” for customers. “Australia is an important market for Kodak and I want to take this opportunity to assure our customers that the continuity of our service and commitment will be unaltered,” he says.
