Speakers line up for first SEANG meeting in Bangkok, Nov 10-12

International speakers will join local specialists at the first South East Asian Newspaper Group meeting in Bangkok from November 10-12. The new newspaper group aims to foster communication between newspaper production managers in South East Asia in the same way as SWUG in Australia and New Zealand and USA users’ groups. In addition to presentations covering topics from blanket and roller maintenance, to prepress, press and control technology, there will be an opening golf tournament at Thanya Thanee golf course and a range of social functions. It’s also an opportunity to discuss plans for the future form of SEANG. International speakers include Jan Jungmann (Conti Germany), Terry Brissett (Brissett Rollers, Australia), James Haisman (QI Press Controls, Australia) and GXpress managing editor Peter Coleman. Representatives from newspapers in Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and Indonesiahave already signed up to attend.
