A collaboration between Buhrs and IMS&S will see the latter distributing Buhrs poly and paper wrapping systems and fulfilment systems in Australia and New Zealand.

the agreement also covers the Benelux countries and Switzerland.

“With IMS&S, distributing and servicing powers are combined and knowledge and expertise brought together,” says Buhrs marketing and sales vice president Ruud Oud.

“IMS&S has a strong team of specialists who thoroughly know the market and our clients. These are important preconditions to strengthen our market position together.”

Jan Kranstauber of IMS&S says his company knows Buhrs “through and through”.

“Besides our service and maintenance activities, we can now offer new and revised systems, with the advantage of being able to provide systems in any desired configuration.”

Headquartered in Zaandam, The Netherlands, Buhrs is a subsidiary of the Value8 Tech Group, which is a part of Value8. IM Service & Support was established in 2010 and now has more than 15 members of staff. It specialises in packaging systems for the graphic, pharmaceutical, food and packaging industries.
