Sweet: America East sets date for Hershey return

US newspaper trade event America East Media Business and Technology Conference returns to Hershey, Pennsylvania, from March 31-April 2, 2014 for what it says will be the year’s largest east coast newspaper event.

More than 600 attendees and 85 exhibitors are expected at a ‘streamlined’ event focussed on insights and best practices that will benefit chief executives and publishers as well as digital, revenue, audience and technology/operations professionals.

A business track covers new business models and advertising revenue strategies, sessions on generating revenue from consumers and print, increasing audience loyalty and engagement, and building mobile products, as well as a multimedia sales workshop.

The technology addresses outsourcing, cloud computing, operational efficiency, digital and commercial printing strategies, emerging media technology and the impact of the economy and new regulations.
