Böttcher Australia managing director Mitch Mulligan has been appointed president of the Graphic Arts Merchants Association of Australia, succeeding Alastair Hadley. Ian Martin becomes vice president. Both appointments are for a two-year term. Mulligan says is is a privilege and honour to be elected to the position by membership: “GAMAA is an association that is passionate about the development and promotion of our industry,” he says. “Its member company representatives are an inspirational group of individuals that all share common goals. “I look forward to continuing to contribute to GAMAA and to working more closely with executive director Karen Goldsmith and the GAMAA team.” Martin says his role on the GAMAA executive and as a member of the Pacprint09 board, provides an opportunity to serve an industry he loves and has enjoyed working in for 27 years. “My appointment as vice president is an even greater opportunity to contribute.”
