KBA has appointed Mathias Dähn as chief financial officer, replacing Axel Kaufmann.

Kaufmann (44), who has held the position since October 2010, is leaving to pursue “new professional challenges”.

Born in Munich, Dähn worked for Bosch and telecoms group debitel before moving to MAN Group where duties included involvement in the sale of manroland. He continued with as group purchasing director for MAN Diesel & Turbo and forked for Austrian lighting manufacturer Zumtobel from 2011-2013.

He is married and has three children.
