US sheeter specialist Vits International has developed a system for multiweb offline finishing.

New Sprint systems address the market for perfect bound and saddle-stitched books.

“The ability to run an eight, 16 or 24 page signature and then collect them into the required page count dramatically increases productivity and throughput and provides the versatility printers need to meet their customer’s demands”, says international sales and marketing director Nick Gerovac.

“We have feedback from our customers that this innovation alone will allow them to produce on one line what in the past, was done on multiple ones.”
