Egyptian book printer El Kholy Printing has installed a secondhand KBA (Albert) 200S press to produce school books in the Tanta region.
The eight-unit 578mm cut off press was originally installed at a printer in Florence, Italy. It has been supplied and installed by Dutch equipment specialist GWS Printing Systems and its Italian partners.
Egyptian sales director Sami Adams says it will be El Kholy's first web-offset press. GWS areaa sales executive Arthur Viguurs says the supply of book printing presses has become a specialty for the company: "Our work in Egypt over the last 20 years has helped establish a reputation as a reliable and knowledgeable partner," he says.
