Global changes within Kodak will see Australian staff reporting to UK head of operations Martin Mayo, and the departure of managing director Steve Venn.
The company announced in November that it would split its Asia Pacific sales operations as part of the merger of four current regional sales organisations into two. Australia and New Zealand go with Europe, the USA and Canada into a new 'EUCAN' region headed by managing director Lois Lebegue, while Asia is merged with Latin America, the Middle East and Africa as 'ALMA' under John O'Grady.
Kodak Australia managing director Steve Venn is taking the opportunity to leave the industry in April, ending a 40 year career.
He joined Kodak from Kodak Polychrome Graphics - after its 2005 purchase from Sun Chemical of the half share it did not already own - and worked in Singapore on two occasions, returning to Australia in 2008 and 2013.
No direct replacement is being made, and marketing manager Tony Harvey has been quoted saying there will be no changes for customers.
