A new printing plant for China's Chongqing Daily Press Media Co will be equipped with Swedish-designed Schur mailroom equipment.

The order for Schur high capacity gripper conveying and stacking technology for the new Chongqing plant was announced this week.

Five TGG3200 gripper lines are being installed, equipped with newly-designed PUC3201 pick up stations and TS800 high-speed stackers.

Established in 1952 and part of the Chongqing Daily Newspaper Group, Chongqing Daily Press Media Co has grown to a high technology printing house for newspaper and commercial printing with an annual circulation of around two billion copies. The new Chongqing printing centre will produce more than 30 daily newspaper titles and a number of high quality business magazines.
