QI Press Controls and sister company EAE are continuing a programme of regional reorganisation with the appointment of a new sales manager to replace Job van Hasselt in southeast Asia.
The companies have named Mathijs Baron to the position, in a move which follows the appointment of new agents in India and the Gulf region. van Hasselt - who has worked in Asia for 27 of his 37 years in the graphic arts industry - says he is looking for other opportunities.
Baron joined QIPC-EAE earlier this year with more than four years of experience in the Asian market. "In sales and support, he will be a tremendous asset to our customers on many levels," says a spokesperson. "As QIPC-EAE experienced remarkable growth opportunities in the region, we knew we needed to bring on additional resources."
Baron becomes responsible for all operations in southeast Asia, heading a team of engineers and locally-based agents. He will focus on marketing and driving sales for fluid dispensing throughout Asia, developing and overseeing new key accounts in addition to maintaining existing partnerships.
The companies recently announced the appointment of agents Krause India in South Asia and Al-Qasswa Development in Saudi Arabia.
