QI Press Controls' agent for the USA, Central America, Colombia and Panama, Print2Finish has added sister company EAE to its portfolio.
QI director Menno Jansen says having one agent for both businesses "makes sure that the efficiency and effectiveness of the combination is well known in all represented countries".
Headquartered in Yardley, Pennsylvania, Print2Finish has represented QI for 12 years, promoting its equipment within the newspaper and commercial printing market. The company's sales vice-president Juan Echavarria is glad of the opportunity to offer a wider range of products: "Customer contact is very important to us and for EAE.
"In the world of automation it is important to get things up to speed fast. Our job is done when the press works to the customer's expectations and we won't stop until they are satisfied."
Ronald Reedijk, managing director of QIPC-EAE Americas says training was complex and initially, difficult. "Communication between the technical Germans and the commercial Americans was hard at first, but we noticed that we could learn a lot from each other," Echavarria says.
