BST eltromat International is planning to follow up a Pack Print International show presence by opening a new office in Bangkok.

The German company - with solutions in print process control primarily for narrow web and forms applications - is exhibiting at PPI, being held from August 26-29 in Bangkok.

Then the expanding company plans to found a new subsidiary in Bangkok.

Managing director Kristian Jünke says the upcoming trade fair appearance is not BST eltromat's only commitment on the Asian market, "not by a long shot".

A new sales, services and engineering company is a response to the "increasing significance" of the Asian market and the rising demand for the innovative quality assurance systems.

"Asian customers are very interested in our key technologies made in Germany," he says. "With the upcoming founding of a new subsidiary company in Bangkok we are taking into account the positive business development in the region, and intend to focus on the Asian economic region more in future."
