Soon to be American-owned, Goss International will highlight its commercial, newspaper and packaging technology at US trade show Graph Expo in September.
The event takes place in Chicago from September 13-16.
Goss will focus on its Sunday Vpak short-run packaging press and new Magnum Compact for book, newspaper and semicommercial applications, as well as Sunday commercial web presses.
A new partner solution with Alwan includes extended colour gamut, with which customers to add two or three inks to conventional process for exact brand reproduction.
Less expensive than normal ink changeovers, the update promises a 30-50 per cent cost reduction over using spot colours. Alwan's technology also includes colour management and quality control software.
Americas managing director Mike D'Angelo says Graph Expo is the ideal platform to engage with customers and prospects: "We always welcome the chance to communicate directly with printing companies of all sizes, and provide details of how Goss technologies can potentially re-expand margins, revitalise production capabilities and create flexible run-length opportunities," he says.
Recent Goss customer projects in the USA will also be a key feature. Since the last show, the first Magnum Compact press system in the US has been installed at Advance Publishing in Staten Island, and the first triple-wide Uniliner press completed at Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.
"These US firsts and the new Goss presses at other American customers such as Colonial Press International, Creel Printing, Grupo El Comercio and Infagon Web, further demonstrate our commitment," he says.
