Australian mobile marketing and payments company Mobile Embrace says its acquisition of Vizmond Media brings a "game changing performance marketing automation platform".
The platform's efficiency is credited with profit on day one plus incremental 'longtail' revenue in "the vast majority" of member acquisitions.
The acquisition also increases Mobile Embrace's market share and reach assets which include seven proprietary reward-based brands with customer databases totalling approximately 750,000 active members across Australia and New Zealand.
The Mobile Embrace deal is $2.5 million upfront plus potential contingent consideration of up to a further $3.5 million over three years and subject to profit targets.
Vizmond managing director Brett Tompson is joining Mobile Embrace on a three year contract aligned to its strategic growth plan.
