European operations of Komori and Screen have teamed up in a strategic business agreement similar to that they have in North America.

The collaborative structure follows a regional distribution agreement for the Belgian, French, German, Italian, Dutch and UK markets, where Komori Europe will become the sole distributor of Screen GP's Truepress Jet520HD inkjet web press.

The agreement says Screen GP Europe will use its expertise in digital printing to provide comprehensive support for Komori Europe, helping grow market share for the two companies.

Komori global sales and service group director and managing operating officer and group general manager Kazunori Saitoh describes the agreement as "a great opportunity for both Komori and Screen GP: "More importantly, we know our European customers will benefit from the combined expertise of our two companies".
