There's no gain without pain for riders including former Fairfax North Richmond plant manager Michael Gee in the Endure for a Cure children's cancer fundraiser.
Gee is hoping his efforts will run into four figures, thanks to the help of friends and present and former colleagues.
Now in its third year, Endure for a Cure is a closed-circuit team endurance cycling challenge held at Sydney Motorsport Park in Eastern Creek on May 5.
By enduring a day of physical challenge - and maybe a little pain along the way - participants help raise funds to help Children's Cancer Institute improve the prognosis for kids with cancer.
"You might think I'm crazy, but I'm up for the challenge," says Gee. "It's going to be tough and that's why I really need your help."
