Jacques Navarre has been promoted to Goss International’s senior vice president of sales, marketing and product management. With more than 30 years experience in the printing industry, he most recently headed Goss’s European sales organisation. Dick Schultz will continue to serve as senior vice president of global sales for the company. Goss chief executive Jochen Meissner says Navarre has worked collaboratively with printers and publishers for three decades and developed “tremendous insight” into how the company can deliver the technology, value and support they need. Navarre began his professional career in the paper and board industry before joining Harris Marinoni in 1978. He has since held positions across a broad range of departments, including sales, service and product marketing. “I feel invigorated by this opportunity to work with our customers and with the Goss International team in an expanded capacity,” Navarre says. Jean Segura has succeeded Navarre as vice president of sales for Europe. He has held positions in sales, administration and marketing in Montataire (France), Dover (USA) and Sao Paulo (Brazil). He was most recently director of sales for commercial and newspaper presses for Southern Europe and the Nordic countries.
