Südkurier solution automates the proofing process

After revamping the interface for German customer Südkurier, ppi Media is offering a system to automate the sending of customer proofs.

The AdCept extension – part of the AdMan ad production system now in its v7.0 update – is being used by the publisher’s inhouse studio SK One.

The automated process sees customers receiving an email with a link to a web-based review page where they can see a preview of the ad together with order details. The ad can then either be released for production, or change requests submitted, with the steps repeated for each review process.

A new responsive design for Südkurier Medienhaus ensures the solution can be used on mobile devices, with the modern React framework now used as the basic technology behind AdCept.

Steffen Kuhwald, in charge of the project at Südkurier, says the extension slots really well into existing infrastructure. “We’re pleased to offer our customers a fully automated and convenient review workflow,” he says.

SK One develops marketing and media solutions for around 10,000 customers from initial consultation to implementation and performance measurement, working with a team of more than 100.
