New production tracking systems at Daily Print in Sweden are enabling the VK Media site to focus on production.

An installation of MWM’s cloud-based CopyTrack tracks times, stops, waste and over production, creating reports as needed on a daily basis.

The print site in Umeå prints more than 100,000 newspapers daily basis for owner VK Media (Västerbottens-Kuriren and Folkbladet) and other publishers in Sweden.

Daily Print’s Thomas Sandström (pictured) says the move will enable them to “focus on what we do best, print”.
