There’s a bright new look to this year’s National Print Awards and new reason to be in Brisbane for the event.
Australia’s Visual Media Association has announced an ‘Ink and Innovation’ conference to take place ahead of the traditional gala event.
Both take place on June 4 at Brisbane’s InterContinental hotel, the conference from 10am to 3pm, ahead of the industry’s “night of nights”, the 41st National Print Awards.
Keynote speaker at the conference will be respected UK print leader Jon Bailey who, apart from his role in guiding the growth and transition of Sheffield-headquartered Precision Proco, is known for helping other businesses leverage creativity and technology. Honoured by the BPIF, he speaks regularly at international events, advocating advocate sustainable, local-to-global production.
She says the conference is the first in its kind for the industry, “aligning with our recognition of excellence for the National Print Awards” and will focus on building the excellence for attendees.
Conference registration – which is limited to 100 attendees – costs $45 for members (non-members $65) with reservations by emailing events@visualmediaassociation.org.au.
