A further technical seminar for Thai members of the South East Asia Newspaper Group (SEANG) drew attendance of 22 delegates, with more newspaper sites represented.

Meeting topic was testing technologies, with two speakers from local specialist National Instruments. The company uses PC-based virtual virtual instrumentation to increase productivity productivity throughout a plant.

One subject of particular interest was vibration control, with software demonstrated to monitor a wide range of production functions.

Established at a meeting late last year, SEANG plans its second annual conference in the Thai capital this October, with a “catch-up” planning meeting to be held during the Ifra PublishAsia conference in May.
